“ We were visiting and loved this place so much we couldn’t go anywhere else! The vibe is great, the coffee was really good, and the pour-over was delicious. The staff was super nice, especially Neil, who was friendly and knew a lot about the coffee. We’ll definitely be back! ”
“ Pershing East Coffee is a go-to spot for me. If your looking for a place to work this is a great spot - lots of space to work even if it's busy. highly recommend the breakfast tacos - the potatoes in it are soo good. Lots of different options/flavors for coffee and tea-lovers. Very friendly staff and always such great community of people. ”
“ Pershing has a calm, peaceful vibe that I really appreciate—especially because I can be a bit chaotic myself. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, take a breath, and just be for a while.. it’s the kind of calm, peaceful space that makes it easy to get work done It’s perfect for students or anyone working remotely. really liked the interior—it’s spacious, minimal, and has a beautiful design that makes it easy to focus and relax. The interior is beautifully designed—very open, minimal, and thoughtfully put together. The parking lot is big too, which is a huge plus for East Austin. Next time I visit, I want to try one of their pastries—they looked super good. The staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was really pleasant. Since I’m often in East Austin, this spot is super convenient, and I’ll definitely be going back. ”
“ Pershing East is a great coffee shop with delicious coffee and a welcoming vibe with space to hangout or set-up shop inside or outside. They’ve done a fantastic job creating a shared space that also serves as a members-only club. The pastries and breads are fresh and tasty, though I haven’t had a chance to try the full food menu yet. Plus, it’s convenient that they have parking for both cars and bikes. The team has been friendly the times I have been. Definitely worth a visit! ”
“ The moment, I walked in everything felt easy. I was greeted with a smile and had a fabulous Matcha latte. I’ve already booked another business meeting for next week! I have a feeling I may become a regular when I’m on the east side. ”
“ Had a chance to go to the soft opening for lunch, would go back again for the grand opening. We opened with some free bites from the chef and some wine on the house! Amazing service by Kyle and definitely knew his stuff with the recs, my friends and I decided to go with all of his recs and I would highly recommend you try all the dishes, plenty of flavors and super delish. The restaurant is in the original Greater Goods Coffee Shop. Super friendly staff and chef, the level of service was excellent. Don't go next door, that's members only and they will close the door on you and tell you to park elsewhere. I would definitely go back for a meal but not sure about the membership ”
“ Pershing East is one of my favorite coffeeshops in Austin. Phenomenal espresso & pour-over options using Greater Goods beans. Fantastic natural lighting. Plenty of room to work. Great food options (breakfast tacos, sandwiches, salads, pastries from Sour Duck). But truly what sets Pershing East apart is the people. The baristas are not only skilled & passionate in their craft, but also incredibly friendly and welcoming. They take the time to get to know their customers (yes, including the Pershing pup regulars), creating a sense of community that’s hard to find elsewhere. In summary, it’s a vibrant, community-oriented space where you can enjoy great coffee & food! Highly recommend! ”
“ Ownership of the space has indeed changed; however I can easily say that the quality of coffee is still entirely the same (still exclusively locally roasted by Greater Goods with baristas who are equal parts friendly and coffee-nerdy) and their new lunch sandwiches that their in-house chef makes are SO good (the Pinocchio is a stand out for me with it's slightly sweet pistachio butter and salty/savory flavors). I've heard tale that there's even the intent to start having a couple beers and wine in the near future so this might also have to become a later afternoon hang for me as well! ”
